The Department of General Surgery at SMC Specialized Hospital is highly regarded and nationally recognized. The Division of General Surgery provides services for Endoscopy and colonoscopy, Colorectal Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Trauma, Surgical Intensive Care, Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery.

Common Diseases and Conditions:

• Patients with Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiac problems, or renal diseases who have to undergo any operation & may require Intensive care after the operation.

• Trauma (Accident) / Medicolegal Gunshot, Stab Injury.
