Cardiology
The Department of Cardiology has become a premier center for cardiovascular services in Bangladesh which helps to recover thousands of heart patients. Noninvasive Labs of the Department are equipped with refreshed Doppler Echo Machines, Treadmills, Holter, 24-hour Ambulatory B.P. monitoring system.
The Cardiac Catheterization lab was established in recent years and since then, more than a thousand interventional procedures with excellent results have been performed. The best Specialized Medical Care (SMC) Hospital doctors are in the process of developing electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency ablation techniques to be done on a routine basis. These excellent achievements in a short time have been made up due to the consistent and dedicated efforts of all the faculty members of SMC.
