Dr.  Mohammad Zahir Uddin MBBS (DMC), FCPS (Paediatrics) , FCPS (neonate) is working as an Associate Professor at  Dhaka Medical College & Hospital . He started her carrier as Medical Officer and holds some vital positions in paediatrics and Neonatology Department at different Medical College and Hospital across the country. He was responsible for patient care and Management of all types of Critical and Chronically ill Children / babies & the sick newborn in (PICU & NICU) including general ward . He also used to attend all the emergency cases.

He obtained FCPS (Paediatrics), as of FCPS (neonate) from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2009 and 2012 respectively. He acquired the Special training, necessary expertise and a wide exposure in the Department of Paediatrics as a Associate Professor. He is skilled in taking care of critically sick babies in NICU and PICU . He is comfortable to take care of the patient on ventilator including High Frequency oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) and skilled to perform most the NICU procedures. Her teaching experience is also remarkable in undergraduate and postgraduate level.

He is working at Specialized Medical Care (SMC) Hospital – as Associate Professor of Paediatrics.
