Dr. Uzzal Kumer Sikder embarked on his medical journey by completing his MBBS and pursuing Specialized training in Medicine and Gastroenterology. He obtained an MD in Gastroenterology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. He is continuously gathering more clinical experience in the field of gastroenterology and developing his expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures.

 Professional Experience:

After his internship from Rajshahi Medical College in 2013, he started his fellowship training in Medicine at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. In August 2014, he joined the 33^rd BCS health care and served the government as a medical officer at a different Upazila health complex. In March 2017, he started his specialized training in Gastroenterology at Dhaka Medical College Hospital under the supervision of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and obtained an MD in Gastroenterology in January, 2023.

Currently, he has been working at the Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver institute and Hospital, which is an apex medical institute for gastroenterology and hapatology care in Bangladesh.

Along with providing specialized care, he regularly performs advanced endoscopic procedures to improve outcomes and the quality of life of patients.

He is also actively involved in research, training, and teaching activities.

Dr. Uzzal Kumar Sikder is now regularly providing consultations, endoscopy, & colonoscopy services in his evening chamber at Specialized Medical Care Hospital Ltd, Matuail, Dhaka.
